Share reviews between instances of Sendlane Reviews

Reviews are not automatically shared between stores in the same Sendlane account that sell the same product because product IDs vary between stores. You can manually share reviews by exporting original reviews, changing the product ID to the matching product's ID in your second store, and importing reviews there.

To manually copy reviews from one store to another, complete the following steps on a regular basis (weekly or monthly, depending on your volume):

  1. Export reviews from the original store (Store A)
  2. Export a list of products from the store you want to add reviews to (Store B) that includes product IDs
  3. Consolidate both exports into one Google Sheet or Excel file in separate sheets or tabs (Google Sheets, Excel)
  4. Open the Store A sheet or tab
  5. Use a VLOOKUP (Google Sheets, Excel) to match the products' names from both stores and create a new column containing the product IDs from Store B
  6. Copy the VLOOKUP column and paste it as text or values only to remove the formula
  7. Remove the original product ID column
  8. Rename the new product ID column (the column you copy and pasted in step 6) according to your store's import requirements
  9. Export the tab or sheet as a new CSF file
  10. Import the new CSV file in Sendlane to Store B
