Release notes - 3/20/25
Last updated: March 21, 2025
What's new?
This week we made updates to reports to clarify subscription statuses, condensed the segment builder for faster segment creation, added validation to an API endpoint, and added the ability to preview an email as a specific contact!
New features
SMS unsubscribes on the dashboard no longer include profiles with null SMS consent - Previously, we were including profiles that were imported with no value for SMS consent during the reporting period in the unsubscribe data on the Sendlane dashboard. We are now only displaying contacts who actively unsubscribed from SMS in the unsubscribe number on the dashboard.
Subscribers and unsubscribers by date added to the subscriber report - The subscriber report now contains columns for the total number of email and phone subscribers and unsubscribers as of the date noted in column A of the row. See Understanding reporting center data and options for more information.
Segment builder menus have been condensed - Segment menu options have been visually condensed. Check out the newly streamlined segment builder.
Validation has been added to the Product Added API endpoint - The Product Added endpoint now checks to make sure that product names are included in the call because missing product names can cause errors. You'll get an error if you make a Product Added call without a product name.
Preview an email as a specific contact - Previously, email previews used a random contact's profile to fill in templating syntax and personalization. You can now select a profile to preview your email as! See How to preview an email as a specific contact for all the details.
