How to install a Sendlane Form on BigCommerce

Sendlane Forms can be installed in your BigCommerce store with the form’s lightweight script. Read on to learn how to find a form’s installation code and guidance on where to install forms on your BigCommerce store.

Access the Sendlane Form installation code

To access a form’s installation code and copy the script to your clipboard:

1. Click the Forms icon
2. In the Actions column, click the edit icon
3. Click Design
4. Click Summary
5. Under Form Installation Code, click Copy Code

Install a pop up style Sendlane form on BigCommerce

You can paste a pop up form’s installation code in an HTML block in your BigCommerce theme’s global region.

The form’s installation code is the only code required to make your form appear on your website. See How to manage Sendlane Forms’ activation status for information on form publication/activation statuses.

To install a pop up style form in your BigCommerce store:

1. Log in to BigCommerce
2. Click Storefront
3. Click Customize
4. Click and drag an HTML Block into the Global Region in your theme preview
5. Paste your form installation code
6. Click Save HTML
7. Click Publish

Install an inline style Sendlane form on BigCommerce

You can paste an inline form’s installation code an HTML block anywhere you’d like the inline form to appear in your BigCommerce theme.

The form’s installation code is the only code required to make your form appear on your website. See How to manage Sendlane Forms’ activation status for information on form publication/activation statuses.

To install an inline style form in your BigCommerce store:

1. Log in to BigCommerce
2. Click Storefront
3. Click Customize
4. Click and drag an HTML Block wherever you’d like your inline form to appear
5. Paste your form installation code
6. Click Save HTML
7. Click Publish

Troubleshooting

I don't see my Pop-Up on my BigCommerce storefront!

There are a few common issues that can cause your Pop-Up to not appear:

1. Remove all other form snippets If you've installed other forms on your BigCommerce storefront in the past, make sure all snippets are removed. Competing installation codes may be causing your Sendlane form to not appear.
2. Your form is set to Draft Make sure your form is set to Live and any pending changes have been publish
