How to customize your account's SMS help response

Overview

When Contacts text help to your Sendlane SMS phone number, they'll receive an automated reply that includes an email address to escalate their question or issue. Read on to learn how to update this setting!

🚦 Before Getting Started

Activate your SMS plan

To update the email address Contacts receive in response to texting help

  1. Click the Account icon
  2. Click the SMS tab
  3. Click the edit icon under Support Email
  4. Edit the email address
  5. Click the green checkmark to save the email address

Preview your new help response under the Support Email field, or text help to your Sendlane phone number from an opted-in phone number. The rest of the help message cannot be edited.
