How to Add or Remove Contacts From Facebook Custom Audiences

A Custom Audience is an ad targeting option that lets you find your existing audiences among people who are on Facebook.

Once your Facebook integration is set up, you're able to adjust your Facebook Custom Audiences a few different ways!

Add Contacts to Facebook From a List

Contacts can be sent directly to Facebook Custom Audiences from Lists. To send Contacts from a List to a Facebook Custom Audience:

1. Click a List
2. Click the Audience icon
3. Click the Lists tab
4. Click the Facebook Custom Audience icon
5. Select your business from the Business dropdown
6. Enter a name for your Facebook Custom Audience
7. Click Create Audience

Add or Remove Contacts From a Facebook Custom Audience with an Automation

You can use any Automation trigger to add or remove Contacts from a Facebook Custom Audience. Some popular examples include adding Contacts to a Facebook Custom Audience when they are subscribed to a specified List, has a specified Tag added to their profile, or clicks a specified link from an email or SMS Campaign.

To use Automations to add or remove Contacts from a Facebook Custom Audience:

1. Choose a trigger
2. Click the + icon to add a node
3. Select the Facebook tab
4. Select an action
5. Select a Facebook Custom Audience to add Contacts to
6. Click Done
