What Are SEO Settings?

SEO is an acronym for Search Engine Optimization.

In the course of building your Landing Page, you will be asked to input the SEO Settings for that page. It’s required to fill in the Page Title. The Description and Keywords are optional.

The reason we make it mandatory to fill in the Page Title is because visitors will see that title in the the tab of their browser. So you want the Page Title to reach out and grab a visitors attention. This Page Title can also be use in search engine results to describe to a searcher what your page is about in a few words.

The Description will show up in search results as a brief synopsis of your page. Over the years this has become less relevant as Google will pull your page description from other sources like or from you page content itself. The same holds true for the Keywords section as this has declined in relevancy when Google made updates to ranking algorithm.
