What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small files which are collected on a user’s CPU. These are created to keep a small amount of info specific to one particular client and website, that can be reached either by the web server as well as the client computer. This permits the server to deliver a page fashioned to a certain end user, or the webpage in itself could contain some script that is alert to the data in the cookie, and so the cookie can take data from one hit to the website (or associated site) to the next.
