How to find identifiers

Overview

When you request technical support or set up an API call, often you'll need the identifier of the part of the Sendlane platform you're working with.

Contact Identifier

  1. Click the View icon

  2. Click View more

  3. Copy the identifier from the end of the URL

List Identifier

Copy a List's identifier from the ID column of the Lists page.

Tag Identifier

Copy a Tag's identifier from the ID column of the Tags page.

Custom Field Identifier

Copy a Custom Field's identifier from the ID column of the Personalization page.

Automation Identifier

Copy an Automation's identifier from the end of the Automation's URL.

Automation Email Identifier

  1. Click the email node

  2. Click Edit Email

  3. Copy the identifier from the URL

Email Campaign Identifiers

Email Campaign identifiers are in different locations depending on whether the Campaign has been sent.

Before Sending

Copy the Campaign's identifier from the Campaign editor's URL.

After Sending

Copy the Campaign's identifier from the Campaign report's URL.

Email Template Identifier

  1. Hover over the Template

  2. Click Edit Template

  3. Copy the template's identifier from the URL

SMS Campaign Identifier

SMS Campaign identifiers are in different locations depending on whether the Campaign has been sent.

Before Sending

Copy the Campaign's identifier from the Campaign editor's URL.

After Sending

Copy the Campaign's identifier from the Campaign report's URL.

Copy the Pop-up's identifier from the Pop-up editor's URL.
