How to use your account access token

Overview

Your account access token can be shared to grant access to your Sendlane account to users in another Sendlane account.

Partners, such as a marketing agency you've hired to manage your email marketing, can use your access token to log in to your Sendlane account.

Read on to learn how to create and revoke access tokens.


When to use your access token versus create a user account

Whoever you give access to your account via the access token has access to your entire account. It is not possible to revoke access for specific users; the token gives access to anyone who has it. This access can only be revoked by generating a new access token, which will remove access for all users who had used the token.

Copy your account access token

To copy your account access token:

  1. Click the Account icon

  2. Click User Management 

  3. Click the Copy icon to copy your account access token


Revoke an account access token's access to your account

To revoke access granted by your account access token, generate a new account access token.

The previous account access token will no longer grant access to your account.

To revoke an account access token:

  1. Click the Account icon

  2. Click User Management 

  3. Click Renew Access Token
