How to Find Identifiers

When you request technical support or set up an API call, often you'll need the identifier of the part of the Sendlane platform you're working with.

In Sendlane, the following functionalities create identifier numbers:

• Contacts
• Lists
• Tags
• Custom Fields
• Automations
• Automation Emails
• Email Campaigns
• Email Templates
• SMS Campaigns
• Pop-ups

This guide shows you how to find the identifier for each functionality!

Contact Identifier

1. Click the View icon
2. Click View more
3. Copy the identifier from the end of the URL

Copy a List's identifier from the ID column of the Lists page.

Copy a Tag's identifier from the ID column of the Tags page.

2. Click Edit Email
3. Copy the identifier from the URL

Email Campaign identifiers are in different locations depending on whether the Campaign has been sent.

Before Sending

Copy the Campaign's identifier from the Campaign editor's URL.

After Sending

Copy the Campaign's identifier from the Campaign report's URL.
