Basic Editing of Email Templates
After creating a Campaign, or Automation email, you will be prompted to design the email through the 'Design' tab. This tutorial will walk you through using the editor found in the 'Start from Scratch' section. Once done you will have the option to save as a template when clicking the three dots (...) in the upper right corner.
Adding Sections and Content
To add Content to your template, whether it be text, a headline, image or etc. You will need to first add a Section from the 'Sections' tab.
After dragging the Section on the page, you will then be able to drag the content into the section.
Using Personalization Tags
After adding text, or a headline to your template, you can then add a personalization tag to the text. Select from the toolbar to add the tag of your choice. You can read more about personalization tags here.
After adding text, or a headline to your template, you can then customize it how you would like. You will highlight the text then utilize the toolbar to customize the text.
Icon Meanings (From Left to Right):
- Font Color
- Font Size
- Personalization Tags
- Section Settings (Move, Duplicate, Delete)
Changing Font & Font Size
After adding text, or a headline to your template, you can then customize the type of font used and its size. You will highlight the text then utilize the toolbar to customize the text. The capital ‘A‘ will allow you to alter the font, while the capital ‘A‘ with the number next to it allows you to change the font size.
Changing the Background Color
To change the background color of an email select the gear icon in the left-hand side panel. Then use the “Background Color:” field to alter the color of the email.
To change the background of a certain section, click into the section, then use the 'Section Background Color' field in the left-hand sidebar to alter the color of the section.
