What is an URL Slug?

The term “URL slug“, is used in SendLane™ to name the page you create and will be added to the URL for you landing page. For example, if you target a weight loss niche you might have a URL slug for you landing page that may read… “10 Secrets of Losing 10 pounds in a week“. So once you complete the landing page it will read like

http://mybusinessnameorniche.sendlane.com/law of attraction.

If prompted during the setup of your SendLane™ account the the URL slug (sub-domain) will be placed before your hosted domain.

  • Example: http://acme.sendlane.com

If prompted during the setup process of a landing page/ opt-in page or setup of a thank you page (TYP) the URL slug will be added to the end of your hosted domain.

Example: http://acme.sendlane.com/catch-a-road-runner-in-442-easy-steps
