How do I add a Facebook tracking pixel to a web page?
In this tutorial you will learn:
- How to add Facebook’s tracking code or tracking pixel to a landing and/or thank you page.
In order to place the Facebook tracking pixel within any of your landing pages, squeeze pages, opt-in page, or thank you pages, you will first want to click Landing Pages button in your left hand navigation menu. From the landing pages home page you will want to click on on the down arrow next to the Edit button of the page you wish to place the pixel in.
***Note that if you have not created an opt-in page as of yet you will have the option to add the Facebook Tracking Pixel during the process of setting up your landing page.
Next you will want to select Settings from the drop down menu.
This will bring up your landing page settings. From here you will want to click on the tab called Tracking Code. The next step is to simply paste the code within the Head tag. The “Head” or “Body” tags are simply HTML code that helps hide the tracking code of your landing page. After you have placed the tracking code in the correct area you may now click “Save” to make sure the pixel remains in the right location.
***Note depending on what you are specifically tracking you will want to put the tracking pixel on either your Squeeze Page or Thank You Page.
